2. Scope of Services

We provide rubbish removal and waste collection services to domestic and commercial customers. Our services generally include the loading of waste, transportation from the collection address, and transfer to authorised facilities for recycling or disposal in compliance with UK waste regulations.

The exact scope of the Services for each job will be as described in our quotation, email confirmation, booking confirmation, or agreed verbally at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse to handle any waste that we reasonably suspect is hazardous, prohibited, or not as described at the time of booking.

3. Booking Process

Customers may request a booking by phone, email or online enquiry. When making a booking, you must provide accurate information, including but not limited to:

2. The approximate volume, type and weight of waste.
3. Any items that may require special handling.
4. Your contact details and preferred date and time for collection.

Any quotation or price indication we provide will be based on the information you supply. If on arrival the waste significantly differs in type, volume, accessibility or condition from the description provided, we may adjust the price, revise the service, or decline part or all of the job.

Your booking is considered accepted when we confirm the appointment by phone, email, text message, or other written confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion, subject to any applicable consumer protections.

4. Access and Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that we have suitable access to the property and waste at the agreed collection time. This includes, where relevant, arranging entry through gates, security desks, car parks, loading bays or communal areas.

You must ensure that:

1. The waste is ready for collection and is not obstructed by other items.
2. Any necessary permissions from landlords, building managers or neighbours are in place.
3. Our team can safely park as close as reasonably possible to the collection point, subject to local parking rules.

If appropriate access and permissions are not available when we arrive, we may charge a waiting fee, additional labour, an aborted visit fee, or reschedule the booking. We will discuss any such charges with you before proceeding.

5. Waste Types and Prohibited Items

Our services cover general household, garden, and commercial waste, as well as bulky items such as furniture, appliances and office equipment, subject to applicable regulations.

Certain items are restricted or prohibited. These may include, but are not limited to:

1. Asbestos or materials containing asbestos.
2. Clinical or medical waste, including sharps and pharmaceuticals.
3. Chemical, corrosive, explosive, toxic or flammable substances.
4. Gas cylinders, pressurised containers and certain liquids.
5. Paints, oils, solvents and similar hazardous materials, except where we have explicitly agreed in advance and are authorised to carry them.

If prohibited or hazardous items are discovered within your waste, we may refuse to remove them, adjust the price to cover specialist handling, or terminate the service. You remain responsible for any prohibited items that we are not authorised or able to collect.

6. Pricing and Quotations

Our pricing is typically based on the volume, weight, type of waste, labour required, and ease of access. Quotations may be provided as fixed prices or estimates. Where we supply an estimate, the final price may vary if the waste, labour or conditions differ from those described.

All prices will be communicated before the service is carried out. Unless expressly stated, quotations are exclusive of any applicable taxes, governmental charges, congestion charges or parking fees, which may be charged additionally where incurred during the service.

We reserve the right to revise our prices at any time. Price changes will not affect confirmed bookings unless the scope of work, waste description or access conditions change.

7. Payments and Invoicing

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due on completion of the service. We may accept various forms of payment, such as cash, card payments or bank transfers, as advised at the time of booking.

For business customers, we may offer invoicing terms subject to credit approval. Where invoicing is agreed, invoices are payable within the timeframe stated on the invoice. If no period is specified, payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.

We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments at the statutory rate and to recover from you all reasonable costs incurred in pursuing overdue sums, including debt collection and legal fees, where permitted by law.

8. Cancellations and Amendments

You may cancel or amend your booking by contacting us as soon as possible. To minimise charges, we request at least 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled collection time. Where you cancel or substantially change a booking with less than 24 hours notice, we may apply a cancellation fee or charge for any costs already incurred.

If we arrive at the scheduled time and are unable to carry out the service due to issues within your control, such as lack of access, parking, or waste not being available, this may be treated as a late cancellation, and an aborted visit or call-out fee may apply.

We may cancel or reschedule the service if circumstances beyond our reasonable control occur, including severe weather, vehicle breakdown, staff illness, road closures, or legal restrictions. In such cases, we will aim to notify you promptly and offer an alternative appointment. We shall not be liable for any indirect loss resulting from such cancellation or delay.

9. Performance of Services

We will perform the Services with reasonable skill and care, in accordance with good industry practice and applicable waste regulations. We will make reasonable efforts to attend at the agreed time, but any times given are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.

Our team will take care when working on your premises. However, you are responsible for securing or removing fragile items, protecting flooring, and advising us of any particular risks or structural weaknesses. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects.

10. Title to Waste and Disposal

Once the waste is loaded into our vehicle and paid for in accordance with these terms, title to the waste passes to us. We will then be responsible for transporting it to appropriate facilities for reuse, recycling, recovery or disposal in compliance with applicable law.

We operate under relevant waste carrier, broker and dealer regulations, and will endeavour to handle and dispose of waste in an environmentally responsible manner, prioritising recycling and lawful disposal routes.

11. Liability and Limitations

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Subject to the above, our liability to you for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Services, whether in contract, tort including negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise, shall be limited to the total amount paid or payable by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of reputation, or loss of anticipated savings. We are not responsible for the contents of any items you present as waste, and you are responsible for ensuring that you do not include valuables, documents or items you wish to retain.

You agree to indemnify us against any claims, costs, damages or losses arising from your breach of these Terms and Conditions, including any breach of waste regulations attributable to you, except to the extent caused by our negligence or breach.

12. Compliance with Waste Regulations

We operate in accordance with relevant UK waste legislation and regulations. By using our services, you confirm that you have the right to transfer the waste to us and that the waste is not unlawfully obtained or being disposed of in breach of any legal obligations.

You must provide accurate information about the nature and origin of the waste. If we become aware that the waste has been misdescribed or unlawfully presented, we may refuse collection, return the waste, or notify the relevant authorities as required by law.

Where requested, and where applicable, we may provide documentation evidencing lawful transfer and disposal of waste, such as receipts or waste transfer notes, in accordance with regulatory requirements.

13. Insurance

We maintain insurance cover appropriate to the nature of our services. This may include public liability insurance and, where relevant, employer liability insurance. Details of our insurance can be provided upon reasonable request.

Our insurance does not cover items that you have mistakenly included in waste you ask us to remove. You are responsible for checking that no personal property or valuable items are presented for disposal.

14. Complaints and Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with our service, you should contact us as soon as possible, providing your name, address, contact details, details of the service and the nature of the complaint. We will investigate and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We will work with you to try to resolve any disputes amicably. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue any remedies available under applicable law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. The updated terms will apply to any services requested after the revised version takes effect.

For ongoing or recurring services, we will notify you of any significant changes in a reasonable manner. Your continued use of our services after such notice will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms.

18. Severability

You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement, promise, representation or assurance that is not set out in these documents.
